Eric Graham, a consulting principal based in the southern United States, has over 15 years of experience in wireline, wireless, and satellite communications. His practice focuses on U.S. policy and regulatory issues, including spectrum policy, licensing, competition issues, and legislative affairs.
Before joining LMI Advisors, Mr. Graham worked at OneWeb and was responsible for regulatory affairs for North America. In addition to managing OneWeb’s regulatory activities at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and other federal agencies, he led the company’s legislative affairs efforts and federal policy strategy, and he was part of the company’s delegation to the 2019 World Radio Conference.
Along with his satellite experience, Mr. Graham has more than a decade of experience in the wireless industry with C Spire, now the 5th-largest wireless operator in the United States, where he was responsible for overall corporate strategy and government relations during a period of rapid consolidation in the industry. His strategies were successful in maintaining the company’s primary line of business and establishing new opportunities for the company to diversify.
Mr. Graham’s varied responsibilities included leading the company’s efforts in obtaining additional spectrum, identifying and assessing acquisition opportunities, developing strategic relationships to advance the company’s priorities, and creating and executing legislative and regulatory strategies to preserve federal support funding for regional wireless providers. In this context, he testified in Congressional hearings and FCC working groups, represented the company for several years in 3GPP meetings around the globe, and played a leading role in creating a new trade association for regional and rural wireless providers.
Prior to C Spire, Mr. Graham practiced law with the firm of Brunini, Grantham, Grower, and Hewes, PLLC where his practice focused on public policy consulting and public utilities regulation, including natural resource transportation.
